Meet Our Service Team

Carrie Sigler
Chief Operating Officer

Carrie joined Mark's team in 2004 and was elevated to the executive management team in 2015.  After making The Horizon Group a model of efficiency, Carrie has become a speaker at industry conferences and has participated in a number of “best practices” presentations.  As Operations Manager, she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and company procedures.  She maintains the billing and financial records and handles all HR issues for Mark.  Carrie organizes many of the client events hosted by The Horizon Group and is the point of contact for anyone with long term care insurance questions.  She is also licensed as a Notary Public with the State of New York.

Carrie has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Keuka College.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, camping, and volunteering at her church and the boys' school.


Kristin Kuhn
Client Services Specialist

Kristin has been with the group since 2007.  She is often the first person to greet clients in the Rochester office.  Kristin is in charge of scheduling client meetings, maintaining the database system, and often just "checks in" with our clients to see how they are doing.  She also orients and helps clients with their Albridge and/or StreetScape account access as well.

When not at work, Kristin enjoys camping and spending time with her family and friends.



Tess Kittelberger
Client Services Specialist

The most recent addition to our team, Tess, was born and raised in Rochester.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Marist College and a Master’s in Communications from RIT.  Tess is well traveled and even studied abroad in Greece.  Aside from travel, she enjoys working out and spending time with her family including a twin sister.

Currently Tess assists Kristin with all aspects of the review process and meeting a wide range of client service needs.



Ashton Muchler

Operations Manager

Ashton serves as Operations Manager for Muchler Financial Services.  Ashton is responsible for overseeing and implementing all tasks associated with running Terry’s practice.  She supervises a staff of four, comprised of Beth Clark, Lisa VanDerwerken, Lauren Heiman and Megan Sears. Ashton has a degree in Social Science and is a graduate of Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage.  She ran her own business before joining the firm.

Ashton lives in Dansville where she recently purchased her first home.  She is passionate about rescue dogs and volunteers at various shelters.
